War - How to play

 How to play online war

Casino war is no doubt the easiest card game to play in the casino. The rules are trouble-free - whoever draws the highest card wins.

The aim of war is for a player to have a higher number than the dealer. After placing an opening bet, both player and dealer receive one card. If the value of the player's card is higher than the dealer's, then the player receives a 1 to 1 payout (even money) on his bet. In the event of a tie, the player can either fold and lose the original bet or "go to war", by raising his bet by an amount equal to the bet he first made. Next, both player and dealer receive three cards face - down and one card face - up. The player wins if his face - up card equals or beats the dealer's face - up card. If the player wins, he receives a 1 to 1 payout (even money) on his raise wager only, and the original wager is a push. If the dealer's face - up card is higher than the player's face - up card, the player loses both bets. War is played with 6 decks and no Jokers. The decks are reshuffled after each hand.

  • The cards are ranked from Ace - the highest down to 2 - the lowest ranking card.
  • The player must make an opening wager in order to start a game
  • The Player has the option of making a Tie Bet. This bet pays 10 to 1.
  • Each player and House received one card face up.
  • When the casinos card is higher than the one of the Player - Player loses.
  • When the Player's card is higher than the casinos card - Player wins even payment.

  • There are two possibilities available for the player when the casinos card and his are of the same rank. The first is to surrender, thus, losing half of his bet. The second option is to "go to war". Going to war means that both the player and the house make another bet equal to the initial wager. The dealer then deals one card to the player and one to the house. There are three possible outcomes to this bet:

  • If the Player's card is higher then the House's card, he wins all the money on the specific hand.
  • If House card is higher than the Player's the Player loses.
  • If player and house cards are of equal rank, the player wins and is paid a Bonus equal the amount of the original bet.
